Slurry pump

Slurry pumps provide pumping of slurries with a high density of solid fractions (up to 2500 kg / m3) and particle size of up to 200 mm.

Spare parts are produced for all brands of pumps. We also produce spare parts for Warman pumps.

Scope of slurry pump use

Slurry pumps are designed for pumping gravel, sand-gravel, slag, ash-slag and other abrasive slurries.

Pumps series AH, AHR, AHE, AHF, HH, ZGB, G, SP, SPR, BSHN, DNU - centrifugal, cantilever, unilateral, with axial inlet, it is divided into horizontal and vertical types. Design features are caused by the presence of large-sized abrasive inclusions in the pumped liquid-pulp. Pump design makes it possible easily and quickly replace the inner body, which is subject to wear, consisting of lining and protective disc, discharge pipe is regulated in steps of 450 in the plane that perpendicular to the shaft axis.

Slurry pumps series AH, AHR, HH, AHF

Slurry pumps AM, HH series have replaceable lining and impeller made of high-chromium white cast iron. The impellers and lining are made of high chromium white cast iron, an alloy with a high chromium content of 27%.

Slurry pumps AHR series have a removable lining made of wear-resistant rubber. The impeller and lining are made of wear-resistant rubber. Pumps with rubber lining are best used in aggressive environments. Soft surface easily absorbs the particles impacts.

Slurry pumps HH series are cantilever, horizontal, centrifugal slurry pumps, designed to achieve high-head at high pressures. Sludge transport is used for long distances. Advantages of pumps.

Bearing assembly is a large diameter shaft with a short protrusion that minimizes deflection and contributes to the long life of the bearing. Only four through-end anchor bolts are required to fix the cassette-type casing in the frame.

Shaft seal can be stuffed, centrifugal and mechanical. On request, discharge pipe can be positioned at intervals of 45 degrees and oriented in any of eight positions, suitable for installation and operation.

Lining is easily replaceable, fixed to the body with bolts for good fit and easily maintenance. Carbide lining is interchangeable with molding elastomer. O-rings made of elastomer are laid over all places of the lining connection.

Housing - body halves made of cast iron or malleable cast iron with external stiffeners provide high working pressure and additional safety.

Impeller - front and rear armored discs have blades that reduce the recirculation and contamination of the seal. Carbide and elastomeric impellers are completely replaceable. Cast impeller threads do not require liners or nuts. There are also high-performance models designed for high headroom.

Single frame is a very strong one-piece support frame for the bearing assembly and shaft. External impeller adjustment mechanism is located under the bearing housing for easy adjustment of the impeller clearance.

Slurry pumps ZGB series

"New Hydrosystems" company designed and developed a slurry pump ZGB series with heavy feeding and high pressure. Such series have advantages when pumping highly abrasive and highly concentrated slurries.

The pumps ZGB series serves for pumping heavy mortars and has an axial seal of two types: combined gland seal and face seal.

Use of an expeller seal in combination with an face seal and stuffing box ensures leakage protection.

Use:

Pumps could be used for pumping a mixture of abrasive and aggressive sludge in power engineering, metallurgy, coal, chemical industry, mainly for concentrated ore and sludge during ore dressing.

Seal types

Gland seal

Expeller seal (centrifugal seal) consists of an expeller, an expeller ring, a shaft bushing, a shaft seal, etc. Sealing cup and gland are used for the rubber seal of the expeller. Packing, thrust ring, lantern ring and stuffing box are used for the metal seal of the expeller.

Face seal is often used in the chemical industry, it is used at high pressure at the pump inlet. Its design and principle of operation are more complex than those described above. There are three types of face seal: external flushing, internal flushing and without flushing. The rinsing water does not allow mechanical compaction to heat up and wash away the impurities. Type of the face seal should be selected depending on the operating conditions. If the sludge is not allowed to be diluted, it is preferable to use an external flushing or non-flushing option. If there are no special requirements, internal flushing can be used. The rinsing water can enter the pump chamber for transfer with the slurry.

 Slurry pumps G (H) series

Gravel feed pumps G&GH series are horizontal centrifugal pumps. Pumps GH type have a high head. Design of such pumps consists of a housing connected by locking tapes and flow part. Wetted parts of the flow part are made of chrome wear-resistant alloys. Pump discharge connection can be oriented in any direction for 360°. This type of pumps has such advantages as ease mounting, high wear resistance, good indicator of the cavitation stock.

Application

Pumps for gravel transport are designed for the continuous transport of the most complex highly abrasive slurries that contain too much solid particles. It is suitable for pumping sludge in the mining industry, explosive sludge in smelters, for excavating dredging, work in riverbeds and other areas.

Slurry pumps series SP, SPR  

Cantilevered mud pumps SP/SPR are designed for use requiring increased reliability and durability, fully lined with elastomer or hard alloy, without submersible bearings or double-suction seals and increased feed. Replacement impeller and a suction mixer are available on request.

Application

Mainly suitable for pumping aggressive, highly concentrated thick mixtures. Widely used in metallurgy, mining, coal, energy, construction and environmental protection.

Advantages

SP(R) pumps are vertical centrifugal sand drainage pumps; the water inlet to the pump is vertically positioned from the top down, and the outlet from the other side from the bottom up. Pumps have bearing supports. There are two version of the pump drive scheme: belt and through the elastic sleeve-to-pin coupling. Depth of the sleeve under the solution can vary within standard limits, depending on the needs of the Customer.
